This is just a short attempt to get back into the fanfic writing groove after being out of it for so long. *sighs* Only 545 words, and takes place in the Sookie Stackhouse universe, post-FDTW.

I hadn't planned on taking this long to update, but the final papers/tests/moving out turned out to be more stressful than I had anticipated. Anyway, look for me to post ten next weekend, since that's when all the finals and moving out will be done with. Thanks for reading so far, and as always, concrit and comments are hugely appreciated!

ETA: I'm adjusting the format slightly on the story and will gradually go back and change the earlier ones at some point. So if you notice a change, that would be why. :)

In order to distract from and apologize for the fact that the next chapter of Shadow and Sunshine isn't ready yet, I'm posting this J/B oneshot I wrote a few weeks ago. It takes place after Eclipse, and has lyrics from Paramore's "We Are Broken".

This was mostly me trying to experiment with a different style of writing, so comments and concrit would be hugely appreciated. Featuring lots of fluff and slightly OOC!Bella.

I come bearing chapter eight of Shadow and Sunshine, for those of you who are interested... also, for those of you of the J/B persuasion, I've been working on compiling a list of J/B fanfic, which can be found here. Don't forget to take a look, and drop me line if you think of some that I've overlooked.

Now, on to the fanfic... I want point out again that this is J/B with some E/B.  Feedback and concrit are hugely appreciated, but comments consisting solely of "I hate this because it has J/B in it!" aren't helpful and will probably just be deleted anyway. So please, use some discretion. :) 

Here is chapter seven of Shadow and Sunshine. I hope everyone who has been following this fic so far enjoys it... this has been a busy week, and probably this next one will continue to be busy as well, so I'm thinking Friday or Saturday will be when I post eight.


ETA: I appreciate the kind comments that have been left so far, but am asking nicely that those of you who are not J/B fans and are unable to say things other than "I don't like this because it has Jacob/Bella in it!" please refrain from leaving a comment.

As planned, I'm posting chapter six of Shadow and Sunshine. The next one will probably be posted Saturday/Sunday-ish. I'm sorry I can't be more definite than that, but I've got two major papers coming up that need to be done. *sigh* It's what I get for choosing English as a major, I suppose.

I can honestly say this was my favorite chapter to write so far, so hopefully you guys enjoy it. :)

Not much new to report here. :) I promised a friend I would get this posted today, so here's chapter five of Shadow and Sunshine. Also, it's likely that chapter six won't be posted until early next week sometime (Sunday or Monday is what I'm thinking), since I've got a lot to get done and break is slowly dwindling away. *sigh* Anyway, thanks to all of you who are reading this!

After one crazy week, I'm happy to say that I've gotten Chapter Four revised and will hopefully have more time this week to continue working on Shadow and Sunshine. And as always, comments are an all-time favorite of mine. :)
